why data trackers?
If you teach upper elementary school (or any testing grade level), data trackers are a game changer! Here are my top reasons why I love using them in my classroom:
Student Ownership
I used to give the quarterly benchmark assessments to my students, and they never saw their scores or took any interest in achieving levels of growth. Once I introduced data trackers, they started taking ownership of their district & state testing scores!
Parent Communication
These are a great reference point that I use for parent teacher conferences and any other communication where I need to show parents student growth or challenges!
Teacher Data
These also serve as a great data point for me to see where students can use extra support & where I can fill in any gaps!
